SMEportal is a digital platform that provides Nigerian entrepreneurs and small businesses with tools, resources, and opportunities to grow. Our services include (but are not limited to): - Business management tools (invoicing, expense tracking, analytics) - SME marketplace and business directory - Access to mentorship, learning programs, and funding opportunities - Community forums and events

By registering for an account, accessing the Platform, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies we may introduce from time to time. If you are using SMEportal on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

To use SMEportal, you must: - Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction - Have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to: - Provide accurate, current, and complete information - Maintain the security of your password and account - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

You are solely responsible for any content you create, upload, or share on the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content in connection with the Platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

All content and materials on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of SMEportal or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content or materials on the Platform without our express written permission.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by SMEportal. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any third-party sites, information, materials, or services. You acknowledge and agree that SMEportal shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or service.

Some features of the Platform may require payment of fees or subscription charges. By using these features, you agree to pay all applicable fees and charges. We reserve the right to change our fees and subscription plans at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMEportal, its affiliates, and their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, and directors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: - Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform - Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform - Any content obtained from the Platform - Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content In no event shall SMEportal's aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Platform.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SMEportal, its affiliates, and their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, and directors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform, including, but not limited to, any user-generated content you provide.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Platform. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.
